About the house on Sretensky Boulevard, 6/1x2
In 1899-1902, an apartment house was built on a plot owned by the insurance company "Russia", designed by architects N.M. Proskurnin, A.I. von Gauguin and V.A. Velichkin.
The house on Sretensky Boulevard, 6/1 was built in an eclectic style with elements of modern and neo-Renaissance. It consists of two buildings connected by a wrought-iron fence designed by architect O.V. von Dessin.
Among the residents of the house at different times were many famous scientists and cultural figures. Since the 1960s, artists' workshops have been located in the attic rooms of the house.
Currently, the house at 6/1 Sretensky Boulevard is occupied by apartments. Various organizations are located on the lower floors of both buildings.
Parking for residents is organized on the internal fenced territory of the house. Round-the-clock video surveillance.
