About the house on Arbat Street,51c1
Arbat 51 p.1 is a former apartment house of V. P. Panyushev, built in 1910 according to the project of V. A. Kazakov. Before the revolution, the Arbatsky ARS cinema was located in the house. In 1920, the poet A. A. Blok stayed here.
Writer Anatoly Rybakov, who lived in this house from 1919 to 1933, reflected his childhood impressions of life on the Arbat in his works "Dirk" and "Shot".
