Brick facade house on Bolshaya Molchanovka Street, 21 is a former apartment building built in 1912 by architect O. G. Piotrovich.
Before the revolution, N. V. Basnin lived here, who had a rich collection of engravings, where Russian graphics and all Western European schools were presented. All of his 14 thousand engravings, including extremely rare ones, are now in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
