About the house on Ostozhenka Street,3/14
The apartment house of Yakov Mikhailovich Filatov (right part) on Ostozhenka Street in 1907-1909 was created by the architect Valentin Evgenievich Dubovsky. The house is angular, with the right side facing the 1st Obydensky Lane, therefore it has a double number - 3/14. The building is a complex conglomerate of volumes having various shapes and silhouettes of completion. Especially memorable is the bell-shaped tent over the corner turret - the "shot glass", according to which the house got its unofficial name.
